Invictus - Beyond the Obvious

Invictus: A movie of its kinds with Nelson Mandela in backdrop of a movie and Rugby Game, inspiring, thoughtfully made. I hope it will make a difference in many people.
Even though the meaning of Invictus States as "Unconquered”. Movie talks loudly about the Leadership aspects in so many ways.

1) You are the change; Change starts from you, your place, and your way of doing it.
- Morgan Freeman talks to the Security team about the reconciliation and forgiveness when new white security guards joins team, it shows how different a leader can be.

2) Convey the change clearly and completely to the team to close any open void.
- Morgan Freeman (Nelson Mandela) takes over as President of south Africa and enter his office, We can see so many white people scared of their Jobs and ready to leave, On seeing it, he readily reacts to team with most inspiring speech and Gets his team confidence

3) Identify your Goal, like minded people to accomplish and persuade people to exceed their own expectations
- Whole Movie prevails around the scene when Matt Damon get an invitation from Freeman(Nelson Mandela) for a tea, Even though as president his goal was to remove differences between fellow peoples (White and blacks), he finds Rugby captain, inspire and persuade him to exceed the expectation with a Tuff Goal to WIN WORLD CUP.

5) Know your team members, appreciate their moves.
- As a leader (Nelson Mandela) tries and becomes close by wishing each team member with their names and binds him to whole team. I have read many team building related books talks about the 'Knowing Team" This movies shows it all.

7) Look beyond the obvious and concentrate on what matters.
- Nelson Mandela Knew it was a very difficult to bring the change in people, but he always looked beyond and concentrated on achieving it.

8) Things just don't happen; we have to make it happen
-- Every time we blame on so many things as we don't see what we expected. In a contrary we don't take responsibility of not making it happen. Always it’s in our hand to make things happens.

I will remember this always
"I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul"
